Alan R. Williams Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alan R. Williams of Manchester, Michigan, born in Altoona, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 12, 2020, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Williams and Regina Williams (Stephens). He is survived by: his wife Jody Hines; his daughter Jessica Patterson (Eli) of Hudson; his grandchildren, John Dibble (Kayla Mott), Claire Cox (Dakota Fritz), Zachary Williams, Miranda Cox, Alexander, Kallie, Dylan, Payge Leathers, Kyonna, Klara, Kaitriona and Keira Patterson; and his nephew Craig Henry II.

“Our deepest sympathy and prayers go out to Jody, Jessica, and Alan's family and friends. I had the good fortune of meeting Al in 1967 at Jackson Community College where where we both attended the same physics class. We became very close friends sharing many interests and hobbies. Then in 1969 we shared an apartment in Ann Arbor for several years as college roommates. He was the the most tolerant and understanding person I have ever met. His wife and daughter were the center of his universe. RIP”
