He was predeceased by: his parents, York Sr. Patton and Ruth Patton (Alexander); and his siblings, Bud Patton, Bill Patton, Margaret Still, Maxine Pebley, Helen Seaman and Pauline Lee.

He is survived by: his wife Chriss Patton; his son Daniel Patton (Rachel) of Mancelona; his sisters, Shirley Bedard of Traverse City and Geraldine Jones of Flint; his grandchildren, Damaris Spoor (Jon) and Alysha Odom (Jeff); and his great grandchildren, Maverick, Katana, Nakita, Serenity, Richter and Saoirse.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516.
