He was predeceased by: his parents, James Withers and Mary Withers (Anthony); his wife Betty Lou Withers; his sisters, Nancy Jean and Janice Marie; and his daughter-in-law Lee Withers.
He is survived by: his children, James Withers, Doug Withers (Cinda), Mary Stephens (John), Lee Ripenbark (Don) and Many. He is also survived by Many grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
