She was predeceased by: her parents, Blanche M. Sherman (Long) and Merrell E. Sherman; her husband James Gildas; and her grandson Brian Gildas. She is survived by: her children, Elaine Spires (Lucky) of Alden, Jane Lopinski of Alden, Bill Gildas (Maryann) of Ocala, FL and Jim Gildas of Alden. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
