James Meeker Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Meeker of Mancelona, Michigan, born in Flint, Michigan, who passed away on July 7, 2020, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Meeker and Pauline Meeker (Myers); and his brothers, Leonard Meeker Jr., Thomas Meeker and Baby Boy Meeker.
He is survived by: his wife Debbie Meeker; his children, Michelle Meeker of Manistique, Nathan Beaver (Shannon) of Hersey, Lesley Jago of Newberry, Samantha Sonnenberg (John) of Carp Lake and Starr Brosofske (Fred) of Mancelona; his grandchildren, Zhoe Meeker, Janna Swisher, Waylon Swisher, Bristol Swisher, Alexa Beaver, Bree Beaver, Wyatt Jago, Hunter Sonnenberg, Johnny Sonnenberg, Alexander Sonnenberg, Jason Brosofske and Madison Brosofske; his great grandchild K. C. Collins; his sister Rose Jensen (Dwight) of Millington; and his nieces and nephews, Abby Meeker-Thomas, April Ball (Greg), Greg Jensen (Amanda) and Paul Meeker.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
