James L. Mott Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James L. Mott of Mancelona, Michigan, born in Rochester, Michigan, who passed away on January 13, 2023 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Mott and Lucille Mott (Holdried); his son Larry Mott; and his brother Donald Melvin Mott. He is survived by: his wife Lila J. Putman; and his children, James Mott Jr. of Mancelona, Robin Nichols (Lance) of Mancelona, Lisa Gurung (Prakash) of Kalkaska and Heather Atchison (Dave) of Kalkaska. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
