It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Anton (Mancelona, Michigan), born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on August 6, 2018, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Anton and Martha Anton (Januszewski); his former wife Marie Anton; his sisters, Irene Oliver and Helen Tobin; and his siblings-in-law, Lois Anton and Al Oliver.

He is survived by: his spouse Janice Coon (Oakley); his children, Robert Anton (Lex) of West Bloomfield, Craig Anton (Deb Bousho) of Macomb Twp, Sandy Troia (Paul) of Attica and Lynette Anton of Oxford; his grandsons, Robbie Anton (Silan) of Waterford and Ryan Anton of West Bloomfield; his stepchildren, Annette Voelker (George) of Alba, Anita Moore (Gary Keller) of Bellaire, Joe Dilling (Rachel) of Dayton, OH and Kim Wilkinson (Henry Fries) of Gillette, WY; and his siblings, William Anton of Gaylord and Pat Leveron (Larry) of Gaylord.
