She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellsworth Deater and Clara Belle Deater (Seabolt); her husband Bill Grody; her daughter Tootie Mahone; her grandson Kyle Grody; and her brothers, Walter and Charles Deater.
She is survived by: her children, Bonnie Musall (Harold) of Alden, Roger Grody (Sue Luton) of Mancelona, Beatrice Grody (Tony Napont) of Boyne City and Brenda Grody of Mancelona; and her grandchildren, Norman, Salina, Eric, Christa, Shannon, Scott and Kailee. She is also survived by many great grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
