He was predeceased by: his father Richard A. VanSickle Sr.; his brother Dean Lucas; his stepfather George Lucas; and his father-in-law Earl "Bud" Matthews. He is survived by: his mother Doris A. VanSickle; his wife Bonnie S. Matthews; his children, Christopher, Jennifer and Raow "Rose"; his granddaughter Emma; his mother-in-law Mary Jane Matthews; his siblings, Richell Sloan, Robin Cristofori (Ron), Robert Prause (Tammy), Steve Lucas (Renee) and Joe Lucas (Jackie); and his brother-in-law Bryan Matthews (Sallie). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
