He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Lee and Clyde; and his brother James. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Alford (Therrien); his children, Karen Conaway (Arnie), David Alford, Brenda Campbell and John Alford (Heather); and his siblings, Lucy Durham (George) and Bill Alford. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
