He was predeceased by: his parents, LaVern Schwab and Anna Schwab (Saylor); his wife Carolyn Suriano; and his sisters, Ruth Rowe and Barbara Schwab.

He is survived by: his children, Eric Schwab (Tracy), Cindy Nielsen (Carl) and Paul Schwab (Melanie); and his grandchildren, Andrew (Megan), Adam, Emily, Ethan, Elizabeth, Anna and Katherine.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests Masses in Carolyn and Garry Schwabs' names.
