She was predeceased by: her parents, Rosaria and Raoul Desmarais; and her husband Harry Paraskevin. She is survived by: her children, Sandy Harty (Jim), Linda Reini, Glenn Paraskevin (Tracy), Pam Kozlowski, Ken Paraskevin (Gert) and Connie Paraskevin; and her siblings, Lee, Len Desmarais and Theresa Jacques. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, and twenty-three great grandkids.
