He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy Lee Birtles (Roose); his daughter Tina Jo Birtles; his parents, Clyde Birtles and Frances Birtles; and his siblings, Norman, Ford, Eldon, Alvie, Jim, Dale, Harold, Dorlan and Phyllis Masselink.
He is survived by: his daughters, Dorothy (Jim Sawyer), Becky (Randy Wilkins), Cindy (Bob Sirois), Eileen (Norm Morton) and Martha Radke. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
