He was predeceased by: his parents, William A. Carter and Marian L. Carter (Spencer); his son William Kelley Carter; and his siblings, Jan Bergeron and Robert Carter.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Ann Gadde; his daughters, Penny Capistrant, Marian Moldenhauer (Scott) and Jane Carter; his grandchildren, Adam Capistrant, Carter Moldenhauer, Colin Moldenhauer, Aidan Carter and Catelyn Moldenhauer; his brother Todd Carter (Michaeleen); and his nieces and nephews, Roslynn, Roxanne and Anne.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Immanuel Lutheran Chapel (47120 Romeo Plank Rd, Macomb, MI 48044). A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions would be appreciated to Immanuel Lutheran Church or Beaumont Hospice, who provided exceptional care for Bill.
