He was predeceased by: his friend Roger Joseph Boettcher; his parents, Robert E. Boettcher and Virginia V. Boettcher (Czernik); and his nephew Eric Hoeh. He is survived by: his great-uncle Navy; his fiancée Paula Suhak Garcia; his siblings, Leilani Hoeh (Bernard), Diane Warnert (Cliff), Michele Wuolle (Dennis) and Robert Boettcher (Shelley); and his nieces and nephews, Courtney Theisen, Kelley Feldman, Matt, Mark Boettcher, David Warnert and Brian Hoeh. He is also survived by 2 grand-nieces and 3 grand-nephews.
In this capacity, he most recently procured vital protective safety items and equipment for use during the Covid-19 pandemic, and was commended by his superiors for his determination and creative ability in obtaining extremely scarce supplies for Michigan and Ohio.
