He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Mason and Patricia Mason (Stewart); his brother Randy Mason; and his daughter Jillberta. He is survived by: his wife Susan Crommett; his children, Rex Allen Mason Jr. (Genevieve), Barbara Page (Scott) and Lindsey Singletary (Daniel); his grandchildren, Marissa, Rex, Jonah, Zachary and Rhys; and his siblings, Barbara McDonald (Dan), Rick Mason (Kathy), Tony Mason (Robin), Brenda Ray (Scott), Betty Morgan (Don), Ralph Mason (Alesha) and Richard Mason (Anna).

Memorial contributions would be appreciated to American Kidney Fund.
