It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Nelson Dewey Simpson of Macomb, Michigan, who passed away on April 23, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Simpson and Willie Mae Simpson (Watson); and his sibling Dudley Simpson. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Boettcher; his children, Steve (Heather), Scott (Michelle) and Robin Nadolski (Jim); his grandchildren, Dalton (Lauren Wasny), Austin, Amanda, Justin, Ethan and Garret; and his brother David Simpson.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hauss-Modetz Funeral Home (47477 Romeo Plank Rd, Macomb, MI 48044). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Veterans Affairs or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
