With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Karol Grace Michalczak (Macomb, Michigan), born in Detroit, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 31, 2024 at the age of 66. As Karol departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Karol. Though Karol may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Madajczyk and Eleanor Madajczyk. She is survived by: her significant other Thomas Michalczak; her children, Thomas Jr. Michalczak (Hafsa), Megan Myers (Matthew) and Amber Michalczak; her grandson Matthew Myers; and her siblings, Kenneth Madajczyk (Julie), Karen Cueter (Mark), Kimberly Sackner (Mike) and Kevin Madajczyk (Sue). She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, family and numerous friends.
The lying in state was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the St. Isidore Catholic Church (18201 23 Mile Rd, Macomb, MI 48042). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
