He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Hough and Sadie Hough; his daughter Leslie Rattew; and his siblings, James Hough (Betty), Phillip Hough (Betty) and Sadie Hough.

He is survived by: his wife Betty; and his children, Linda Hogan, Susan Etherton (Michael), Gilbert Hough (Kelly), Lorraine Solomon (Jon), Kathleen Rehs (Michael), Robert Warnock, Donna Hill (Russell) and Gregory Warnock (Liz). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild.
