With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Elise Preston of Macomb, Michigan, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Elise left this world on February 6, 2025 at the age of 64, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Lucas and Ellen Lucas. She is survived by: her sons, Brett Preston (Sarawan) and Brandon Preston (Tang); her grandchildren, Louis, Braden, Spencer and Malisa; her siblings, Tom Lucas (Barb) and Mary Thornton (Hugh); her nieces and nephews, Ashley Murdock (Conner), Cammie Quarto (Christopher) and Brad Lucas (Jessica); and her close friends, Denise Akers (Roger), Julie Kitchen (Greg), Paula Erhardt (John) and Sharon Gores (Mike).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Wasik Funeral Home (49150 Schoenherr Rd, Shelby Twp, MI 48315). A prayer will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, we will be purchasing a park bench in Elise's honor at Innovation Hills Park in Rochester. Donations may be made at the Celebration of Life or via https://www.givesendgo.com .
