He was predeceased by: his parents, Niilo Wimpari and Sylvia Wimpari; and his siblings, Beatrice (Robert Wandell), Judith (Leroy Cote), Evelyn (Edward Charles) and Shirley (Jack Reid).
He is survived by: his wife Arlene Keitz; his sons, Daniel (Suzette) and Scott; his granddaughters, Annika, Olivia and Alexis; and his brother Reuben. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
