He was predeceased by: his wife Emma; and his children, George Heldt and Joyce Heldt. He is survived by: his children, Thomas Heldt (Karen) and David Heldt (Candee); his grandsons, Carl Heldt and Lucas Heldt; his daughter-in-law Linda Heldt; his significant other Phyllis Hill; and his sisters-in-law, Dorothy Heldt and Barbara Heldt.
