He was predeceased by: his parents, Robinson Edwin and Blanche Elizabeth Burns, Sr. (Kice); and his siblings, Barbara J. Myers, Mary Cargill and William R. Burns.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Kay Darr; his daughter Michelle Lynn Turner (Shaun); his grandchildren, Derrick Robert Embree, Brandon Lloyd Embree, Chad Lee Embree and Emma Love Turner; his great grandchild Lincoln Robert Embree; his brother Robison E. Burns, Jr.; and his sister-in-law Patricia Burns. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
