He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Diane; his siblings, Robert Gonko (Betty) and Karen Russo (Peter); his children, Brady, Derek Schoenherr (Trudy Bushway), Deanna Saputo (Mario), Dan Gonko (Katya Stanislavskaya), Lori Gonko (Bill Luchi), David Schoenherr and Christina "Nina" Gonko (Justin Gillam); and his grandchildren, Giovanni, Kaden, Domenico and Gaby.
