He was predeceased by: his parents, John Thomas and Helen Marie Shannon (Bowers). He is survived by: his children, Patrick Shannon and Holly Goike (Todd); and his brothers, Richard (Denise) and Robert Shannon (Linda). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
