He was predeceased by: his parents, Vasile Laza and Alexandra Laza; and his sister Ana Maria Scurtu (Lucian). He is survived by: his wife Mariana Laza; his daughter Alexandra Laza-Bushe (Alan Bushe); and his siblings, Giulio Laza (Anca) and Vasile. He is also survived by many nieces, and nephews.
