She was predeceased by: her parents, John "Gunnar" and Helen Carlson (Bancroft); her husband Richard Bonter; her mother-in-law Lydia "Toots" Bonter; and her son-in-law Robert "Bubba" Thompson.
She is survived by: her daughter Cheryl Newman (Scott) of Mackinaw City; and her parents-in-law, Denny Martin, Karen Bonter Krueger (Michael) and Jim Bonter (Ellen). She is also survived by 4 Step Grandchildren & Grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to McLaren Hospice House in Cheboygan, or Church of the Straits.
