He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Valot and Theresa Valot (Banks); his wife Shirley; his sons, Jerry and Larry; his grandchildren, Joel Dessart, Robby Tryban, Daniel Wilson, Jodi Wilson, Charlie Valot and Melanie Valot; and his great grandchild Gabriel Arron Valot.
He is survived by: his children, Clem, Mickey Valot of Plant City, FL, Susan Valot of St. Petersburg, FL, Clement Valot (Debra) of Rochester Hills, MI and JoAnn Tryban of Mackinaw City; his daughters-in-law, Dianne Valot of Carp Lake and Karen Valot of Carp Lake; his brothers, Dick (Janet) of Cheboygan and Wayne (Darlene) of Nevada; and his sister-in-law Audrey Valot of Cheboygan. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren; twenty-six great grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter.
In his honor, memorial contributions may be directed to the Mackinaw Area Public Library's Local History Room.
