He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Tompkins and Violet Tompkins (Howard); and his siblings, Carolyn Harris and Jim Tompkins. He is survived by: his son Howard Tompkins Jr. (Julie Lindsley); and his siblings, Frank Tompkins (Nell), Bobo Tompkins (Kathy), Billy Tompkins (Lisa), Roger Tompkins and Connie Fox. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
