It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Beverly Schafer of Lyons, Michigan, who passed away on November 3, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Pinkney and Crystle Pinkney; her sister Ardis Jegla; her parents-in-law, Laurine and George Schafer; and her son Steven Schafer.
She is survived by: her former husband Norman Schafer; her husband Norm; her children, Bruce Schafer (Sabine) of Ionia, MI, Judy Boozer of Waldport, OR and Brenda Kennedy (Brian) of Novato, CA; her grandchildren, Deena Cardinal (Logan), Nathan, Troy, Ian Boozer, Emily Skrodenis (Rich), Nicolas Schafer, Stephanie Birman (Todd), Darin, Dylan Schafer, Cole and Austin Kennedy; and her siblings, Max Pinkney (Joanne), Sharon Bennett, Sandy Green (Jerry), Terry Pinkney (Rebecca) and Carol Fox (Phil). She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Due to the current pandemic, a Private Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at 11:00 A. M. at Pewamo Cemetery, Pewamo, MI for family and close friends.
