It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ardis Ann Holappa of Lyons, Michigan, born in Marquette, Michigan, who passed away on May 9, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William E. Dunleavy and Louise J. Dunleavy (Misegan); her husband Charles Frank Holappa; her siblings, Patrick A., John E., George D. Dunleavy and Catherine M. 'Kay Johnston; and her granddaughter Isis C. Reed.
She is survived by: her grandson Marky; her children, Peggy Holappa-Hemmila of Baraga, Charles 'Huck' Holappa (Mary) of Ishpeming, Nicole Holappa-Reed of Baraga and Joshua Holappa (Whitney Kivi) of Gwinn; her grandchildren, Emily Holappa of Baraga, Mark Reed, Jr. of Baraga, Jayden of Gwinn, Olivia of Gwinn, Ashton of Gwinn, Kevin of Gwinn, Charlie of Gwinn, Ardis of Gwinn, Elizabeth Walker (Michael) of Marquette and Emma Aho of Ishpeming; her great grandchild Everly Walker of Marquette; and her sister Karen Bengry (Daryl) of Ralph.
