He was predeceased by: his mother Margaret Gambrel (Mathers); his aunt Rosemary Dunlap; his niece Christina Rucker; his grandmother Irene Mathers; and his aunts and uncles, Jack, Bob, Joe, Frank, Geraldine and Patricia.
He is survived by: his wife Lori Ann Clover-Gambrel; his children, Dawn Young (Travis), Rebecca Ewald, James Harmon and Samantha Brown; his siblings, Monica Dent (Rick), Maryellen Gambrel, Michelle Ward (James), Patty Pease, Mark Wilkerson (Ruth) and Danny Wilkerson (Raquel); his grandchildren, Mackenzie Rhoads (Garrett), Paige Tomlinson (Scott), Jazmine Ewald, Willow Ewald and Dirke Ewald; and his great grandchildren, Oliver Tomlinson and Elowyn Tomlinson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Lashley Funeral Home (318 Pearl St, Mio, MI 48647). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
