James A. Adkins Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James A. Adkins (Luzerne, Michigan), born in Dorton, Kentucky, who passed away on May 29, 2018, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joy Adkins (Greer) and Sidney Adkins; his stepmother Nevel Adkins; his daughter Diane; and his siblings, Charles, Larry, Sidney, Cletus, Wayne and Glinda.

He is survived by: his wife Dorothy of Luzerne; his children, Phillip Adkins (Tami) of Livonia and Deborah Allan (Eugene) of Holly; his grandchildren, Sean, Sara (Jacob), Dan, Sarah, Joe and Marie (Timmy); his great grandchildren, Hunter, Noah, Lucas, Andrew, Brynley and Owen; and his siblings, Donnie, Ruby, Linda, Kenny, Samantha, Nina, Glen, Leon and Doug. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
