Duane Dewey Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Duane Dewey of Luther, Michigan, born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on October 11, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Dewey and Mabel Dewey (Dorman); his wife Bertha; and his sister Jean Sodini of Muskegon. He is survived by: his children, Arline Broome of South Haven, MI and Dwight Dewey (Kay) of Durham, NC; his grandsons, Lenny Schmit (Lisa) of Lakeland, FL and Denny Schmit (Christina) of Williston, FL; and his brothers-in-law, Lester "Butch" Bierhalter of Grand Junction and Philip "Tip" Bierhalter of South Haven. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, extended family, and his many friends.
