He is survived by: his mother Joann Vance (DuVall); his children, Brooke Vance (Lucia), Samuel Vance, Jr. and Brandi Redford (Daniel); his siblings, James Vance, Jr., LuAnn Vance and Vickie Vance; his grandchildren, Garrett, Brantley and Teagan; his niece Amy Fish (Brian); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Brendan, Arron, Hannah and Cameron.
