She was predeceased by: her parents, Edmund Schiller and Julia Schiller (Greiner); her husband Walter O'Donnell; and her brothers, Thomas Schiller, Timothy Schiller and Francis Schiller.
She is survived by: her children, Dennis O'Donnell of Irons, MI, Mary Kay Gaddy (Martin) of Ludington, MI, Rose Ann Deford (Michael) of Bay City, MI and Peggy Grzenia (David) of Essexville, MI.; her siblings, Rosemary Byrne (Norman) of Ada, MI and Joseph Schiller (Ruth) of Shakopee, MN; and her siblings-in-law, Connie O'Donnell of Stone Mountain, GA., Genevieve Schiller, Theresa Anderson, Mary LaPalme, Sr. (O'Donnell), Rose Patrice O'Donnell, Joseph LaPalme and Peter O'Donnell.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM and on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service -Pere Marquette Chapel (309 S Washington Ave, Ludington, MI 49431). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Simon Catholic Church (702 E Bryant Rd, Ludington, MI 49431).
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Sr. Rosita Endowment Fund for Community Health and Well-Being. Checks should be made payable to Saint Mary's Foundation and designated to the Sr. Rosita Endowment Fund.
