He was predeceased by: his parents, George Merrifield and Adamarie Merrifield (Verschueren). He is survived by: his children, Heather Beimers (Brad) and Michael Merrifield (Kelly); his stepdaughter Lacy DeBoer (Jay); his sister Margaret Wolverton (Ron); and his niece Rachel Martin (Andy). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren.
