She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Lassen and Karen Lassen (Sorensen); her brother Martin Lassen; and her brother-in-law James Shears. She is survived by: her husband John Shears; her children, Kirsten Corbett (Brian) of Troy, MI and Jon Shears (Darbee) of Grand Haven; her grandchildren, Quinten, Penelope Corbett, Daphne Shears, Rubee VanHall (Ian), Mabel Maloley, Holden and Phoebe Richardson; her great grandchild Athena Richardson; her sister Faye Johnson (Michael); and her sisters-in-law, Patricia Lassen and Patricia Shears.
