She was predeceased by: her parents, Niels Charles and Ruth Nielsen (Abair); and her siblings, Donna and Charles R. Nielsen. She is survived by: her son John; her daughter-in-law Rikki Franklin; her grandson Alexander; her siblings, James Nielsen of Scottville, Mary Buckley (Herb) of Hart and Shirley Tanis (John) of Ludington; and her sister-in-law Barbara Nielsen of Ludington. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
