She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Bowne (Bob); her parents, Barbara Margaret Hinds (Brown) and Captain James Albert Hinds; her siblings, James Albert Hinds II, Barbara Hinds (Bobbie) and Dan Hinds; her in-laws, Rodger Beckman (Rod), Patricia Hinds (Patsy), Jerry Bright, John Bowne (Leo), Wendell, Elise Knudsen, Bob, Peggy Martin, Harvey, Joanne Silver, Don Bowne and Jim Shillinger; and her pet Toby.
She is survived by: her children, Shawn Bowne, Traci Beckman, Chris Bowne (Holly) and Jeff Bowne (Candice); her grandchildren, Ashleigh Pelto (Matthew), Joshua Bowne (Dani) and Skylar Detwiler (Alex); her great grandchildren, Logan Bowne, Kylie Bowne and Henry Pelto; her siblings, Bill Hinds, Tim Hinds (Jeannie), Ann Schihl (Barry), Mike Hinds (Dana), Greg Hinds and Kathy Shillinger; and her in-laws, Nancy Bowne, Carol Klotz, Bill Bowne (Leslie) and Debbie Utz (Carl). She is also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 6:45 PM at the Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service -Pere Marquette Chapel (309 S Washington Ave, Ludington, MI 49431). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Simon Catholic Church (702 E Bryant Rd, Ludington, MI 49431).
