He is survived by: his children, Daniel Kettler (Spring) of Ludington and Candyce Kettler of Sulphur, Louisiana; his stepdaughter Lisa Swartz of Manvel, Texas; his grandchildren, Anela Kettler, Allison Kettler and Fisher Tomme; his stepgrandson Kade; his former wives, Jean Kettler of Ludington and Mary Hargrove of Manvel, Texas; and his siblings, John Kettler, Kenneth Utley, David Utley and Theresa Muranski. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
