She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Schneider and Elizabeth Schneider (Gross); her former husband James Strahan; and her sons, Robert Strahan and Mark.
She is survived by: her husband Dr. John Carney; her sister Freda Felan; her sons, Timothy (Cay), Peter (Karen) and James Strahan (Jennifer); her daughter-in-law Karen Strahan; and her grandchildren, Christina (Nick Simone), Ruby, James, Adam, Ian, Joseph, Aaron (Rosemary), Seth (Jennifer), Zachary (Sandee), Jacob (Jennifer) and Carna (Chris Steimel). She is also survived by several great- grandchildren.
