He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Mitchell and Anna Mitchell (Carlson); his wife Helen Frances Anderson; his daughter Terrie Anna; his brother Robert; his sister-in-law Sharon Mitchell; his sister Vivian; and his brother-in-law Donald Sleeper.
He is survived by: his daughter Laurie Mitchell of Grand Haven; his granddaughters, Emma Cole (Lucas) and Erica Mitchell; and his great grandchild Elisabeth. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Lakeview Cemetery (906 N Lakeshore Dr, Ludington, MI 49431).
