It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Henry Spitsbergen of Lowell, Michigan, who passed away on April 13, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his great-grandparents, Dutch and Pioneer Wynant Modders; his daughter Barbara; his siblings, Ronald, Joan and Phillip; his wife Anne; his grandson Joel Davis; his stepchildren, Verne and Bill; his children, Dan (Betsy), Barb Graham (Don), Debbie Smith (Davis), Linda Newhouse (Bill) and Tim (Esther); and also Nancy (Vern Crowner). He was also cherished by 20 grandchildren and spouses; 18 great-grandchildren, 3 grandchildren and spouses; and 9 great-grandchildren.
