He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Hunter and Norma Hunter (Haley); and his brothers, Ernest, David Hunter (Joyce) and Don Hunter (Mary).
He is survived by: his children, Chris Hunter (Sandy), Randy Hunter (Justina), James Hunter and Dawn Ward (Tom); his grandchildren, Megan Hunter, Storm Hunter, Corbin Hunter, Jesse Ward and Jade Hunter; his great grandchild Riley; and his siblings, Doug Hunter (Joyce) and Sharon Larsen (Vic). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
