She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Busman and Marie Busman (Postema); her husband Elmer Hecksel; her daughter Carol Mankel; her grandson Michael Ryan; and her daughter-in-law Ilene "Tweet" Hecksel.
She is survived by: her children, Glenn E. Hecksel of Orleans, Gary Hecksel (Lois) of Byron Center, Nancy Ryan of Grant and Kenneth Hecksel (Erin) of Lowell. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren and 1 great-great-great grandchild; brothers.
