He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Lucas; his parents, Mildred Mansfield and Robert Lucas Sr.; and his brothers, William Walling, Ron Walling Sr. and Clifford Walling.

He is survived by: his son Jeffrey Lucas; his sister-in-law Frances Walling; and also, Dawn Haugen (Dan) and Roberta Graham (Rocky). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
