He was predeceased by: his former wife Emma Jean Bewell. He is survived by: his children, James (Maria), Robert (Jill) and Sandy Bewell (Rich Dykstra); his grandchildren, Sister Paisia, Angela Thompson (Josh), Andrew (Ashley), Christopher and Thomas Bewell; his great grandchildren, Samuel and Abram Thompson; and his spouse Jean VerBurg. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
