She was predeceased by: her husband Clyde Newell; her parents, Cornelius Meeuwsen and Gertrude Meeuwsen; and her siblings, Kenneth Meeuwsen, Russell Meeuwsen, Robert Meeuwsen, Wayne Meeuwsen and Bea Hoeskstra.
She is survived by: her sister Ruth Wood. She is also survived by several grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Lowell Church of the Nazarene.
