He was predeceased by: his mother-in-law Clara Marshall; and his brothers-in-law, Robert Stauffer and Mark Stauffer. He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his daughters, Melissa VanOverbeek (Ron) and Michelle Masselink (Kurt); his grandchildren, Joshua VanOverbeek (Dianna), Sydney Hopkins (Robert Schodowski), Samantha Boomsma (Ian) and Taylor Masselink; his great grandchildren, Colton, Jameson and Charlie; his siblings, Robert VanDyke (Debbie) and Janet VanDyke; and his siblings-in-law, Dennis Stauffer (Sandra) and Janice Becker (Robert).
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Roth-Gerst Funeral Home (305 N Hudson St SE, Lowell, MI 49331). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
